用戶介面

我的工作﹐名義上是做用戶介面的。名稱寬大﹐實際上只做網頁。這句說話講出甚麼是好的用戶介面﹐一針見血(註)﹕
[something] should behave just like a good user interface -- support people in doing what they're trying to do, and stay the hell out of their way


以人家看不見你為目標﹐方便了人﹐人家還不知道。做這樣的工作﹐註定是個在鎂光燈後的幕後人。有幾個幕後人能夠高調如Google。Google這樣形容自己
Google may be the only company in the world whose stated goal is to have users leave its website as quickly as possible.


客戶和老闆不採納方便用戶的設計﹐因為不能在兩三句之間解釋清楚﹐還是大鳴大放的東西容易吹﹕這裏放個大按鈕﹐call-for-action!﹔況且方便的是用戶﹐不是自己老闆。好用又如何﹖不能邀功!
